Chat & Translation
King Forever connects players from every country in the world through a powerful real-time chat system with automatic translation across 51 languages.
The Global Chat is the main communication channel where all players interact. Open it from the left sidebar on desktop or the bottom navigation bar on mobile.
| ● | Message Limit — Each message can be up to 300 characters long |
| ● | Cooldown — 5-second cooldown between messages in global chat to prevent spam |
| ● | Your Messages — Your own messages appear highlighted in gold so you can easily spot them |
| ● | Timestamps — Every message shows when it was sent |
| ● | Player Avatars — Click any avatar or username in chat to open that player's full profile |
| ● | Season Reset — Global chat is cleared at the start of every new season for a fresh start |
If you are in a clan, you can switch to the Clan Chat tab for private communication with your clanmates. Clan chat has a shorter 2-second cooldown and is not cleared at season reset, so your clan history is preserved.
System messages automatically appear when members join or leave the clan, keeping everyone informed.
Real-Time Translation Across 51 Languages
Every message in the chat can be automatically translated into your language. Toggle the translation button at the top of the chat panel to enable or disable automatic translation. When enabled, all messages appear in your selected language instantly.
How translation works:
| 1 | A Turkish player writes a message in Turkish |
| 2 | The message is sent to the chat server |
| 3 | When you have translation enabled, the message is automatically translated to your language |
| 4 | You see the translated version. A Brazilian player sees it in Portuguese. A Japanese player sees it in Japanese |
| 5 | Click "Show Original" on any translated message to see the original text |
You can toggle between original and translated text for any individual message by clicking on it. The translation toggle at the top of the chat controls the default behavior for all new messages.
Type @ followed by a username to mention another player. An autocomplete dropdown appears as you type, showing matching player names.
| ● | Mention Limit — You can mention up to 5 players in a single message |
| ● | Notification — Mentioned players receive a real-time notification, even if they are not watching the chat |
| ● | Highlight — Messages that mention you appear with a gold background so they stand out |
| ● | Unread Counter — The sidebar shows an unread mention count badge so you never miss when someone tags you |
| ● | Quick Mention — When viewing someone's profile, click the mention button to automatically add @username to your chat input |
