The Hidden Jackpot

Every territory has a secret. A hidden purchase threshold that nobody can see. When it is hit, the entire treasury explodes and splits between two players.

How It Works

When a territory is created or reset, a random number between 20 and 66 is generated and stored invisibly. This is the jackpot threshold. Every time the territory is purchased, the counter increments. When it hits the hidden number, the jackpot triggers.

Why This Changes Everything
  • Prevents Price Stagnation
Without the jackpot, a territory at 400,000 MEFAI becomes too expensive for most players. The jackpot resets it to 1,000, creating fresh opportunity and keeping every territory in active circulation.
  • Creates Constant Excitement
Players know the jackpot exists but cannot see the threshold. Every purchase could be the one. A territory that has been traded 40 times could trigger at 41 or 55. The uncertainty is the thrill.
  • Rewards Active Players
The treasury accumulates 3% of every purchase. After 30+ trades on a high-value territory, the treasury can hold massive amounts. The jackpot ensures this value eventually gets distributed to active players rather than sitting idle.
Example Scenario

Russia has been traded 38 times. The price is at 95,000 MEFAI. The treasury has accumulated 12,400 MEFAI from the 3% of every trade. The hidden threshold is 42.

Trades 39, 40, 41 happen normally, each paying 5% to the previous owner. Trade 42 lands. The jackpot fires. The attacker receives 6,200 MEFAI. The owner receives 6,200 MEFAI. Russia resets to 1,000. A new threshold between 20 and 66 is generated. The race begins again.

The jackpot does not care how rich or new you are. It only cares that you clicked.
